Private Lessons

1-On-1 walk-ins welcomed, weekend lessons
This service caters to groups of 1-2 people and runs from 11am - 4pm on Saturdays & Sundays. Be sure to check our weekend time slot availability HERE before booking
Here’s the deal: You come in, make a pot or two, have some fun, and we will take it from there. We will guide your beautiful creation through the multistep process of firing and notify you when your work is complete and ready for pickup / shipping. The process takes a few weeks to finish to ensure nothing blows up in the kiln, but we will get work sent out to you asap!
The 30 minute offerings will run from 11am - 4pm at a cost of $75 per person per lesson.
If you want more 1 on 1 time with one of our knowledgeable instructors we can book you multiple lessons in a row.
If you are coming with one other person, We can now accommodate group lessons for 2 individuals at a time. The pricing remains $75 per person.
Full payment is due in a timely manner. If you need to cancel a lesson, we will refund the amount paid minus a $25 non-refundable deposit per person.

We require a minimum of 7-10 days notice to schedule Group Lessons and Private Events.
We can handle groups of up to 16 participants.
PARTIES OF 5 OR MORE are treated as a private event and CAN ONLY BE ACCOMMODATED on Saturday & SUNDAY from 6PM - 9PM

Refund Policy
If you need to cancel a lesson, we will refund the amount minus a non-refundable deposit. Please give us as much notice as possible.
Clay, Tools, and Firing
All clay and tools for you to use will be provided by Odyssey.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty. You may bring an apron or personal hand towel. Also, you may want to leave your rings, bracelets and watches in a safe place since you will be getting your hands into the clay. You are welcome to bring a snack and a drink if you wish. Get ready to have fun!
Firing and glaze is included in the price. Large scale or large volumes of work may be charged an additional firing fee.
The firing process will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Your pottery will take some time to dry before going through it's first firing. Next, the pots will be glazed and go through a second firing. You will pick the glaze color at the end of the lesson. Your pottery will be food safe and ready to be used at home! We recommend hand-washing your handmade pottery, but it will be dishwasher and microwave safe.
Your instructor will contact you via email when your pots are ready for pick-up.
Shipping is available if necessary. Shipping and handling fees are not included in the price of the lesson. If pottery needs to be shipped, your instructor will have you fill out a shipping form at the time of your lesson. When the work is ready we will send an invoice to your email for the shipping cost. Once payment is received we will send the package(s).
